My Story
Hi, I’m Kelsey — the artist and owner behind Kelsey Kyle Made (formerly Kelsey Lettering Co.).
My journey into hand-painted art started in May 2020, when my husband, Alex, built flower boxes for Mother’s Day. With his encouragement, I painted them, one for myself and my mom. I shared them on social media, with no intentions of painting for anyone else, and was blown away by the response. What began as a simple project quickly turned into a full-time creative business.
Today, I personally hand-paint and letter each piece — from wedding and event signage to nursery signs, Bibles, graduation caps, mailboxes, and more. Each piece is painted completely by hand — no stencils, no vinyl — just my paintbrush, attention to detail, and a steady hand.
A little more about me: Alex and I have been together since we were teenagers and married for 14 years. We have two amazing kids, and this business has been such a blessing — allowing me to stay home and homeschool them. Before this creative chapter, I worked as a Registered Nurse for over seven years, but this artistic path has become my true passion, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to do what I love every single day.
