Custom Hand-Painted Graduation Cap Topper — Cardstock

Celebrate your graduation with a completely custom, hand-painted graduation cap topper designed just for you!

This listing is for a topper that is hand-painted on cardstock and attached to your own graduation cap using adhesive strips. Each topper is individually painted and completely unique.

What I Need from You

Please include the following information in the order instructions/special instructions at checkout:

1. Name and/or wording
2. Floral design and colors
3. Exact topper measurements needed
   • The standard size is 9.25" x 9.25".
   • Graduation caps can vary from approximately 9"–9.5", so please measure your cap before ordering and provide the exact measurements.
4. Date you need the topper
5. Confirmation that you have read the full description
6. Inspiration photos
   • If you have specific inspiration photos, please email them to kelseybkyle@gmail.com along with your order number.
   • Please mention in your order instructions if you plan to email photos so I can watch for them.

Topper Size & Cap Information

Toppers are painted on 9.25" x 9.25" cardstock unless you request a different size or color.

Graduation caps vary in size, and the placement of the center button/pin can also vary. There is NO pre-made hole in the topper.

You will need to carefully remove the center button from your cap, place the topper onto the cap, and make the hole yourself using the existing pin. Please be extremely careful when doing this so you do not poke yourself or tear the cardstock.

Standard toppers are painted on black cardstock unless another color is requested. Please cantact me if you need another color before ordering to make sure I am able to get the color or a close match.

Custom Designs

All toppers feature a floral design, with your choice of colors and name/wording.

If you have specific flowers you'd like included, please let me know! For example, if you request sunflowers and daisies, I will incorporate sunflowers and daisies into your design.

You are welcome to send inspiration photos for:

• Colors
• Quotes or wording
• Specific flowers
• General design inspiration

I will use the inspiration as a guide while creating the design in my own artistic style. Color matching will be done as closely as possible, but exact color matches cannot be guaranteed.

Every Topper Is Hand Painted

These toppers are NOT digitally created or printed.

Every topper is hand-painted and made to order. Because of this, no two toppers will ever be exactly alike.

Flowers, colors, lettering, placement, size, and overall details may vary from one topper to another. If you see a topper on my page that you love and want something similar, I will do my best to recreate the overall style, but it will not be an exact duplicate.

Please keep in mind that I do not copy another artist's work.

If you send inspiration from another artist, I am happy to use it for general inspiration, colors, wording, or specific flowers, but I will create your topper in my own style. If you want an exact recreation of another artist's work, please contact that artist directly.

Turnaround & Shipping

My current month of bookings is listed in the top banner of my website. Please check the banner before placing your order to see my current booking timeline and availability.

If you need your topper delivered by a specific date, please contact me BEFORE placing your order to confirm that I can meet your deadline.

If you need your topper sooner than my current turnaround time, please reach out to see if I can fit a last-minute or rush order into my schedule. I sometimes leave a small amount of availability for rush orders, but space is limited and not guaranteed.

Depending on your requested date and order timing, you may also need to purchase rush processing and/or expedited shipping. Please contact me before ordering so we can discuss your deadline and determine the best option.

If you provide a specific deadline and I am unable to complete your topper in time, I will cancel your order and notify you ASAP.

Shipping typically takes approximately 2–4 days, depending on your location. Once your topper has been shipped, I am not responsible for carrier delays.

Proofs & Design Process

Because each topper is hand-painted freehand, I do not provide a digital proof or sketch before beginning your order.

All design decisions are made at the artist's discretion based on the information and inspiration you provide.

I will email you a photo of the completed topper before shipment.

If you do not respond within 48 hours, your topper will be shipped as scheduled.

Attaching Your Topper

Because graduation caps vary in size and button placement, your topper may need to be trimmed slightly.

If your topper is larger than the top of your cap, carefully trim it with scissors or a paper cutter.

How to Attach Your Topper:

1. Remove the center button.
Carefully pull the middle button off the center pin of your graduation cap. It may be difficult to remove.

CAUTION: Be extremely careful with the pin and do not poke yourself.

2. Attach the topper to the pin.
Line up your topper with your cap and carefully push the cardstock onto the existing center pin to create the hole.

Because every cap pin placement is different, there is no pre-made hole in the topper.

Be gentle when making the hole to avoid tearing the cardstock.

3. Secure the topper.
Use the strong double-sided adhesive dots included with your purchase. You may also use another strong adhesive if preferred.

I do not recommend using wet glue or liquid adhesives.

4. Replace the button.
Carefully snap the center button back into place.

Important Care Information

These toppers are made from cardstock and are NOT waterproof.

Please handle your topper carefully. Once the topper has been shipped, I am not responsible for any damage that occurs during or after delivery, or while attaching/using the topper.

Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations

Because each topper is custom-made specifically for you, I do not accept returns or exchanges.

If you need to cancel your order, cancellations are accepted ONLY within 24 hours of purchase.
